Denys's ongoing investment in arts and heritage is demonstrated in this selection of artworks of both personal interest and generic importance. When asked how he had made his choice, he replied that the works are "a mixture of the things that we must be proud of and pictures that I personally love."

This November Learning Reps and union members from across Swindon are getting all arty and holding a free day out in the towns world famous Steam Museum to show the public what they get up to in their spare time. The World of Work event is an opportunity to experience a wide variety of art, poetry, songs and more from workers across Swindon and Wiltshire. There will be stalls from local colleges, trade unions and history groups, while there will also be a variety of workshops and activities for adults and kids alike. The event is the idea of two Learning Reps from Swindon's Royal Mail depot and is being supported by Unionlearn, the TUCs education and skills department as well as many of the areas local trade unions.
